The Economic Development Board (EDB) was established in 2002 and is a key advisory body to the Government on economic development issues in South Australia.
The purpose of the Economic Development Board is to maximise the value of emerging economic opportunities for South Australia, so that South Australia is recognised as the most competitive place in Australia in which to invest and grow a business.
It will advocate that the benefits of our prosperity are shared across current and future generations of all South Australians in a way that sustains and enhances our State’s unique environment and liveability.
